
Arts Culture Health and Wellbeing Scotland (ACHWS) and Healing Arts Scotland (15th – 19th June) have joined forces to share on online research conversation looking at research priorities in arts and health. Framed in ground-breaking research studies and experiences from across Scotland and the US, this conversation asks the important question of “What next?” Places are limited so book your place now.
Kickstarting the event with a presentation on the global perspective is Prof Nisha Sajnani (Jameel Arts & Health Lab, NYU). This will be followed by a panel discussion asking – What are the priorities in arts and health research for Scotland? facilitated by Lewis Hou (Science Ceilidh, Arts Culture Health & Wellbeing Scotland) and including a range of leading researchers from across Scotland. Confirmed speakers include Dr Chris Fremantle (Gray’s School of Art), Dr Rachel Drury (Royal Conservatoire of Scotland), and Hannah McIlveen (Royal Conservatoire of Scotland). We’ll also be joined by leading researcher and facilitator Dr Jenny Baxley Lee (Center for Arts in Medicine, University of Florida) who will facilitate a creative activity.
