Social Prescribing Link Worker Manifesto
The result of a partnership between London Arts & Health and the Culture, Health & Wellbeing Alliance the manifesto is an unintended outcome of the thoughts, feelings and words of a group of Derbyshire Link Workers which emerged during an artist-led support programme, Cultural Prescriptions, that was specially designed for Link Workers by Arts Derbyshire, during the pandemic lock downs. As Social Prescribing fundamentally relies on cross-sector, collaborative working, in which the medical model sits alongside the social, the Manifesto is ultimately intended as a provocation to ask whether there is real collective vision for this work and to question whether we are all on the same page, locally, regionally and nationally. The launch event takes place online on the 20 May, 10am. See the Manifesto here. See launch event information here.
